Richard Moren

The Potters and Sculptors Club is very pleased to have artist, Richard Moren, provide a demonstration for our Laguna Woods residents and members at the Potters and Sculptors Studio on Friday morning, August 26th.

Richard will be showing us how he works with coils to make his beautiful pots.  He will also discuss how he uses the wheel and slabs in some of his creations.

Richard moved to the village in 2010 with his wife, Nancy. He received a degree in architecture from the University of Minnesota and went on to design the lobby and casino at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.  He also designed the north casino at Caesars Palace. That’s just to name a few of his achievements!

Richard began working with ceramics in 1978 and has his work showing in several galleries, in San Diego, Coronado and Sedona, Arizona.  He has also shown at the Laguna Coast Gallery, Art-A Fair, and the Laguna Fine Arts Festival in Laguna Beach, CA.

We will serve a continental breakfast beginning at 9:00am and Richard’s Demo will begin at 9:30am. We hope to so you there!

VP/ Publicity P&S
